Promenades - Jour du souvenir

Nous vous proposons deux promenades qui seront offertes en anglais.

Long-time Jane's Walk walk leader Rob Collins is offering two free walking tours in the days leading up to this year's Remembrance Day. Rob's focus on these tours will be Canada's Military Heritage, some of Ottawa's military memorials, and the events and the service people that these memorials honour. The tours will offer an opportunity to reflect on and pay tribute to those who have served our country.

Tour Schedule:

Tour 1: Green Island and Sussex Drive Area Memorials

Saturday, November 9, 2024, 2:00 pm

Tour 2: National War Memorial Area

Sunday, November 10, 2024, 2:00 pm

Each tour will last approximately two hours, guiding participants through the history and significance of various military monuments. These tours are a meaningful prelude to the Remembrance Day ceremonies, fostering a deeper appreciation of the monuments that symbolize Canada’s sacrifices and triumphs in war.

Both tours will be given in English.
