Community leadership recognition for Jane's Walk organizer Louise Renauld-George
One of the founders and organizers of Jane's Walk Ottawa-Gatineau Louise Renauld-George has received a community leadership award from MP Mona Fortier's office. The award, entitled Ottawa-Vanier Leading Women and Girls, recognizes women and girls from the Ottawa-Vanier-Gloucester community who have demonstrated leadership and whose efforts have led to community improvement for Vanier residents.
Louise was presented with her award at a ceremony hosted by MP Mona Fortier on International Women's Day (Sunday, Mar 8). Louise was one of 17 recipients for 2026.
The certificate reads:
