We will visit Overbrook and discover many interesting sites, some still present and many long gone, and share memories of this historic neighbourhood founded just before World War I. We will also remember the first Hurdman's Bridge, which was built 150 years ago, and we'll visit the location of that original bridge.
We'll meet on North River Rd at the corner of Wright St.
From there, we'll take a short walk south to where the Hurdman's Bridge site used to be, then return north to Presland Rd, walk east on Presland to the Ottawa East Seventh Day Adventist Church. After that, we'll cross over to Prince Albert St, then west to Quill St, north to King George St, then west back to North River Rd. Finally, we'll walk north to Donald S, then west on Donald to the east end of the Adawe Crossing.
There is street parking along North River Rd. and in the adjacent side streets.
