Jane's Walk returns May 1-3, 2026!

Join Jane’s Walk Ottawa-Gatineau Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 to stroll and learn about history, celebrate culture, and connect with community. We'll also have a few walks on Friday to whet your appetite!

Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, community-led walking conversations inspired by the late urbanist, activist, and journalist Jane Jacobs. Jane’s Walk festivals take place in hundreds of cities around the world on the first weekend of May. Our walking tours encourage people to share stories about their communities, discover unseen aspects of their city, and use walking as a way to connect with neighbours.
