CBC Ottawa Presents 'Walk This Way'
CBC Radio One in Ottawa is offering some help to revitalize your daily walk. Every Friday for the next few weeks, check out Walk This Way.
On the Walk This Way main page, you will find a summary of each walk, beginning with the first one (Stittsville, released on May 21). Clicking on the walk will take you to page with details, where you will find a route map, a text summary of the points of interest, and a video of the walk that you can stream to your mobile. The video includes an animated version of the route map along with recorded audio describing points of interest indicated. (Note, there will be some ads.)
The links below will take you to the individual walk page for the walks released so far (this article was posted on June 12. New walks are expected each Friday.)
On the date each walk was posted, the walk leaders were interviewed by Alan Neal on CBC Ottawa's All in a Day. Links to the interviews were not consistently provided on the Walk This Way page, so we have provided links to relevant segments in the All in a Day audio archive.
Thanks to CBC for providing this interesting twist on the pandemic daily walk.
